A total of 1,664 posts of Elementary Teacher Training (ETT) have been notified by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Punjab. The SSA ETT Teacher recruitment was released in March 2020. First, the deadline to fill up the form was March 15, 2020.
Due to ongoing lockdown in the state, thousands of applicants' couldn't visit the bank and pay the fee via challan and many couldn't apply the form.
As a solution, the education board has decided to extend the registration date to May 5, 2020. If you couldn't apply the form before then it is a good chance for you to online apply the Punjab ETT Teachers application form and to get enrolled.
Candidates with the qualification including the graduation and two years Elementary Teachers' Training course are welcomed to apply the online application form through educationrecruitmentboard.com website before the last submission date. As notified on the web portal, sufficient days shall be given to the applicants to pay the exam fee once the lockdown is over.

The age of the applicant should be more than 18 years and less than 30 years. The age should be counted as on Jan 1, 2020. The upper age relaxation should be applicable for the reserved category candidates as per the state government rules.
1. Should have passed Graduation with minimum 55% marks in the case of General Category candidates, and 50% marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped candidates, from a recognized institute.
2. Should possess 2 years Elementary Teachers' Training course from a recognized institute or two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or qualifications as per guidelines set by the National Council for Teachers' Education.
